Welcome from Bobby Burgess
I am so glad to be able to present our Father`s Word. It is written in (2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth). Sadly, how this verse gets ignored. God has given us His life giving words in words which all men may receive and believe. From the least intelligent to the most brilliant, men from all back grounds and in all lands and languages must be able to hear, understand, believe and obey: else the Divine purpose cannot be fulfilled. It is my intent as a minister, by the grace of God, and by the Spirit of God, to help others in the study of His Word. To aid those, who have chosen to plow deep, which will enable them to understand the simplicity of God`s Word. So that God`s desire for their lives maybe fulfilled, according to (Deuteronomy 28:2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shall hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God). Paul, by the Holy Spirit says in (2 Timothy 2:15, “Ye study”). This verse is of the utmost important according to (John 12:47-48 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that reject me, and receive not my words, have one that judge him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day). The question is, “What did He say?” We cannot hold the Spirit of God responsible for the way in which men has chosen to translate the original words into their respective languages. Since all, are to be judged by the Word of God, we must ask ourselves, and say, “Where did I learn this?” “How did I get this?” Who taught me this?” it is astonishing to fine how much we have learned from, and from tradition: and not directly and for ourselves, from the Word of God. All that we have learned from our youth up, must be tested and proved by the Word of God. Where we find it is true we learn it over again, from God. And where it will not stand the test of His Word we must be not content, but thankful to give it up: and receive Divine revelation in the place of man`s imagination. The first great and essential principle which must be every present with us, when we study the Word of God, as a whole, is not to treat it as something which we have to interpret, but as being that which God has given in order to interpret Himself and His will to us. We must rightly divide the word of truth, (1). As to its Literary Form, (2). As to its Subject Matter, (3). As to its Times and Dispensation, (4). As to its Dispensational Truth and Teaching. God`s Word, must be studied, verse by verse, chapter by chapter, and book by book.
